Last week's picture was taken from a friend's condo near 2nd and Pine and shows the ferris wheel now located on the Seattle waterfront at Pier 57.
Officially called the Seattle Great Wheel, it is the tallest wheel on the West Coast, and its enclosed gondolas are open all year round except Christmas day.
